Read The Altucher Confidential on Android
The Altucher Confidential is my favorite blog. In this world of derived ideas his writing is like a breath of fresh air. If you haven’t read his blog yet – do it now!
When I got my first android tablet – the micromax funbook, little did I know that its puny processor would make web browsing a pain-in-the-arse.
The best part of knowing how to code is that you can actually go ahead and create things you want to use. It is like being Neo in the Matrix. You don’t have to wait for someone to make it.
So I decided to create a simple reading app for ‘The Altucher Confidential‘. Manoj – our ‘in-house’ Java expert did some really cool things whereby the app downloads the latest posts when you have a net connection and saves them. Later if you are travelling and don’t have internet connection, even then you can continue reading the downloaded posts.
I worked on the UI – the typical minimalist style which I love, is apparent while using the app. Here are few screenshots:
You can install it via the Google Play store here - Download
