The world’s largest javascript library has decided to drop support for older versions of IE. The article provides compelling reasons to why they should do so and also its impact on web designers.

Here is a quote from the article:

Old IE performs badly. It has broken and buggy implementations of almost everything, it is slow, and it doesn’t follow standards. Some versions are insecure, and most versions are way behind on implementing new language features that enhance the user experience.
